Sri Sri Radha Gopi Dasavatara Temple (ISKCON Temple) in Rajahmundry was built in 2 acres of land situated on the bank of Sacred Godavari River. There is a vedic exhibition in temple complex cellar, depicting leelas of Lord Krishna, Lord Rama and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu which attracts the devotees and the visitors. The temple gets about 1000 to 1500 devotees daily and 6,000 to 8,000 devotees on Sundays and about 50,000 devotees on Janmasthmi day.

Sri Sri Radha Gopi Dasavatara Temple / ISKCON Temple has ten mantaps with lord’s ten incarnations called Dasavatras. The temple built very uniquely and it is the 3rd largest temple after Bangalore and Tirupathi in south India among the ISKCON Temples.

Sri Sri Radha Gopi Dasavatara Temple is also known as Ramananda Raya Gaudiya Math as Lord Sri Chaitanya and Ramananda Raya exchanged words at this site.

Every Friday at 6.30 am Lord Govinda Srinivas Abhishekam is performed. On every Saturday and Sunday there is Sannai Vayidyam to glorifying the Lord.

Many Rishis has performed Tapasya at this, due to this the place has got it’s significance. Sri Chaitanya Maha Prabhu met his disciple Sri Ramananad Raya then governor of Chennai province under the Devotee King Purushotham Maharaj. The famous conversation among the Lord Sri Chaitanya and Ramaananda Raya took place on Godavari Bank and now this place is known as Ramananda Raya Gaudiaya Math.

The temple has a dresscode, the visitors are requested to attire themselves in traditional/conventional dresses while visiting the temple.
