Sabudana Chidwa Recipe
Ingredients for preparation of Sabudana Chidwa :
|Nylon sabudana large pearls||1 cup|
|Red chilli powder||1/2 tea spoon|
|Sugar powdered||½ tea spoon|
|oil||for deep frying|
Sabudana Chidwa preparation method :
Heat oil in a pan and fry 2 to 3 table spoons of Sabudana pearls in oil by putting them in a metal frying strainer. Repeat this for the whole quantity.
When the pearls start puffing up stir with a spoon, keep on turning them around, so that they are fried evenly.
The pearls have to fried well, even if they look crisp and done from out, they will be hard from inside. To check for doneness, you can bite and check if you feel they are not cooked from the center, then continue to fry them.
Then remove and drain the fried pearls on paper tissues to remove excess of oil.
Now fry raw peanuts, cashews and raisins one by one in the same process.
Now add sabudana pearls, dryfruits, peanuts, red chilli powder, salt surgar powder and mix all well together in large vessel.
Store it in a air tight container or jar and serve when required.
