Soft white khoya – 1kg.
Sugar powder – 5oo Gms
Cardamom powder – 2 tsp.
Crushed cardamom seeds – 2 tsp
Crushed pistachios – 2 tsp
Peda Recipe Preparation:
With the help of steel grater grate khoya then add sugar powder and mix well. Take a nonstick pan, add khoya mixture and heat on high flame for few minutes, then cook on slow flame till done by stir ring continuously.
When the khoya mixture thickens, add cardamom powder and take off from flame. Keep is aside to cool by stirring occasionally.
When it gets cooled make the shape of pedas with palms into patty rounds then mix pistachios and cardamom seeds and press a bit on top of each.
In case of using moulds, first put some pistachios at the bottom of the mould and put the khoya mixture into the mould. When set well, invert and carefully, take out of moulds.
