Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple, Yadagirigutta is a popular Hindu Temple of Lord Narasimha Swamy. Yadagirigutta is also known as Yadadri.Lord Narashima is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is said that Lord fulfills all the wishes of sincere devotees.

Yadagirigutta is situated on a hillock in the Nalgonda district, Telangana, at a distance of 6 KM from Riagir Railway station and at a distance of 13 KM from Bhongir Town and 60 kilometers from the city of Hyderabad.

Many devotees visit the temple, every day not less than 5000-8000 pilgrims on average visits this temple for offering their vows, performing of saswata pujas ,saswata kalyanam,LakshaTulasi Pujas ,Abhisekam etc.,.On saturdays, sundays and public holidays there will be heavy congregation of devotees.

Yadagiri is named after a sage named Yadava who performed heavy austerities to please Lord Vishnu as Narasimha. The Lord Vishnu was pleased and gave him darshan in three forms: Jwala Narasimha, Gandabheranda Narasimha and Yogananda Narasimha. Then the Sage Yadava begged for the Lord Narasimha to remain on the hill in these forms. And thus the Lakshmi Narasimhadeve temple originated. All the three forms of Lord embeded in the stone in main cave.

We can see Jwala Narsimha in the shape of serpent and Yogananda Narasimha is seen sitting in meditation in yoga posa. The Hanuman temple is seen right side near the main door. It is said that Lord Ghandabheranda was manifested in the long horizontal gap below the Hanuman.
