This is the only hill station in Rajasthan situated at the southern tip of the Aravali hills. There are interesting treks and picnic spots in Mount Abu hill station. Nainital hill station is located in the Himalayan foothills of Uttaranch Uttaranchal is a famous small town from Kathgodam of Kumaon. The hill station of Nainital was discovered in 1841 by a Britisher called Lord Barron. There are many ancient temples, lakes and peaks are surrounded with amazing views of the mountains adds to the beauty of Nainital hill station. Chamba Hill Station:
The hill station of Chamba, is the land of antiquity, art and scenic beauty. This hill station was founded by Raja Varman who named the town after his daughter Champavati. It is a small town located amidst the Shivalik ranges and is famous for its temples. Chamba has a grassy walkway which is the focus for the Sui Mata and Minjar festivals. The Sui Mata festival is held for four days in the month of March every year in memory of princess Sui.
Other interesting places to visit at Chamba hill station are Laxmi Narayan Temple, Brajeshwari Devi Temple,Bhuri Singh Museum Gandhi Gate. And Chamba valley is famous for trekking as it has three well-defined snow ranges Laskar, Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal.
