Corn flakes chudva
Ingredients for making Corn flakes Chudva :
|Corn flakes or Makai poha||4 cups|
|Putna or roasted chana dal||1/2 cup|
|Curry leaves||3 strings|
|Sugar powder||1/2 table spoon (optional)|
|1/2 Red chilli powder||1 table spoon|
|Turmeric||1/2 tea spoon|
|Oil||For deep fry|
Corn flakes chudva preparation method :
Heat oil and take cornflakes in a sieve and immerse the sieve in the hot oil.
Fry cornflakes till they expand, stirring with a spoon till they become golden and crispy.
After that remove from oil and place the cornflakes on the paper napkin to remove excess of oi.
Then fry peanuts, putna, cashews, and raisins one by one in the same way.
Then fry curry leaves for a few seconds and then place them too on the paper towel.
When the mixture is still hot, add red chilli powder, turmeric,salt and sugar and mix well.
Once the corn flakes chivda or makai chudva mixture is cooled, then store in an airtight container or jar and serve as a tea time snack.
